The Art of the Egg

Time Changes and Softens our Focus

The passage of time changes and softens the focus of our lives.

Vivian Alexander Inc. was created during the surge of the Fabergé awareness that swept the world in the late 1990’s. Fabergé in America, the largest U.S. museum tour ever, produced mass awareness of the Russian jeweler’s art. The Forbes Museum engaged Alexander to replicate and distribute for the world to enjoy, the finest pieces of the famous Forbes Fabergé collection. Alexander studied and assimilated the unique techniques of Carl Fabergé, and incorporated them into his exclusive brand of art.

The Vivian Alexander corporate structure, specifically built to handle the international market for Faberge inspired art, no longer fits the present business reality and is being retired. This legacy corporate burden has become too much for the current business model and the evolving austere retail conditions. The emphasis has evolved from the pursuit of major market penetration to the creation of very high quality and very labor intensive wearable art.

Alexander will continue creating and expanding the new lines of artwork that have been in the making for the last few years, and  has formed a loyal following that appreciates these unique skills honed by years of study and innovation using these rare Fabergé techniques. These methods are quite apparent in the recently introduced silver/enamel evening purses and in the plaque a jour sterling silver cuffs that are now available to the discriminating buyer.

We create what we sell, made in America, Made in Acadiana!
