Easter Ornament 2008

Easter tradition continues at Vivian Alexander with this beautiful piece, our fourth limited edition Easter silver ornament. Each one is serially numbered 1/200, 2/200, 3/200, etc. and stops at 200/200.

As our other fine silver ornaments, this one is about 3 inches tall and is grounded with a fine silver (.999 pure), engine turned base. The Easter Lavender translucent enamel is a Vivian Alexander hallmark and true to the Fabergé tradition.
The introduction of this piece is a break from our traditional method of embellishments. The golden vining roses surrounding the silver egg are actually a custom made pewter casting modeled by Craig Miller. Craig has produced all of the castings for our larger pieces over the years and wanted to try his hand at the more delicate Easter flowers. Our artisans skillfully enameled each flower petal in an ivory pearlized enamel and the numerous leaves with a translucent forest green enamel. Each flower is centered with a faceted lead crystal stone.
