Fine silver shell, engine turned, covered with translucent enamels in the Mardi Gras traditional colors of gold, purple and green
Burnished antique gold, antique forest green, and royal amethyst purple are the vibrant translucent colors on this full bodied robust ovoid silver ornament. Only two hundred will be made. All will be numbered 1/200, 2/200, dated 2011, and signed by the artisan.
Notice that the opening price is $225, the opening price on these Vivian Alexander ornaments since 2005. Also notice that the ornaments increase in price $10 each year after their debut. As they get more precious and scarce they are priced accordingly.
