This Elegance size silver purse was originally created for display in the Vivian Alexander Exhibit in the Louisiana Archives. The name comes from the depiction of a three ring circus, with different activities going on in each ring. This design is a definite departure from our older European style designs, and is definitely of-the-times. Some of the rings hold faceted crystals or gemstones in various colors, others are various rainbow shades of pearlized enamel. The overriding background is a very lightly tinted silver glitter in transparent enamel. The effect allows the silver guillocheì to show off to its maximum.

This purse is about six and one half inches tall and about four inches diameter. The interior is lined with sand washed silk and holds the famous Vivian Alexander silk logo.

This purse and all other purses on this web site are made by Vivian Alexander artisans under the direct supervision of Alexander. All are individually designed and handmade  in our Studio.
