I think this purse has an Egyptian air to it, hence the name.
The delicate design is outlined in tiny golden box chain, then studded with peridot and topaz crystals. The background enamel is a misty gold, translucent enough to see the fine guilloché work on the surface of the silver. A very pretty piece, if I do say so.
